Healthwatch Torbay Engagement Officer Vacancy

28.03.2023

Healthwatch in Devon, Plymouth and Torbay (HWDPT) is run in partnership by three local organisations – Colebrook South West, Healthwatch Torbay & Engaging Communities South West and Citizens Advice Devon.

Healthwatch is an independent consumer champion for patients, carers, families, and everyone who uses health and social care services.

A key role of a Local Healthwatch organisation is to continue to develop and deliver local Healthwatch services, ensuring the patient voice is represented at all levels.

This is an exciting opportunity to join Healthwatch Torbay as our Engagement Officer, ensuring that the voices of local people are used to influence the design, development, improvement and delivery of local health and social care services across wider Devon, with a focus on Torbay.

The post holder will be employed by Healthwatch Torbay & Engaging Communities South West, to work within the Healthwatch Devon, Plymouth and Torbay project.

The role is remote, working from home or office-based on request at Paignton Library. Will also include travel across wider Devon area.

This is a fixed term contract for 12 months at 30 hours per week.
