Local Healthwatch welcomes National Champion Healthwatch England to Devon

As one of the local Healthwatch partner organisations, we are pleased to welcome Healthwatch England Committee members to Devon today, where our Healthwatch staff will be accompanying NHS colleagues and Committee members on visits to various health and care settings within the county, including a vaccine outreach centre, maternal health services and an orthopaedic care centre.
Tomorrow our Healthwatch staff will join Healthwatch England’s Committee meeting in public, in Exeter, to share the results of our joint working with the NHS, local residents, community groups, and businesses in Devon. It is a great opportunity for us to demonstrate how public feedback is instrumental in improving health and care services in Devon, Plymouth and Torbay.
