There are lots of different ways for Torbay residents and local community groups to get involved with the project.
Over the next two years we will be:
- Popping up at local events and community hubs throughout Torbay to raise awareness of the project and chat to residents about their experiences
- Running focus groups with Torbay residents to learn about how locals access cancer information and support
- Working with a range of Torbay community groups and organisations to co-host focus groups with their communities
- Hosting a survey for all Torbay residents to give their feedback and ideas on cancer support in the Bay. Click here for link to the survey
- Conducting guided conversations with locals who have been impacted by cancer so as we can learn from their stories
- Hosting workshops with local communities to begin designing solutions that will improve access to cancer information and support for anyone living in Torbay
