Supporting people with everyday challenges in one trusted place
The Paignton Community Hub provides free, face-to-face support for people needing advice, guidance or help accessing services. Based in Paignton Library, it brings together multiple organisations in one accessible, community space.
The hub focuses on early help and prevention – supporting people before issues escalate and reducing pressure on statutory services.
What the hub is delivering
- Delivering signposting and support on housing, benefits, health and wellbeing
- Providing digital skills support and access to online services
- Hosting health clinics including blood pressure checks and vaccination sessions
- Enabling partner organisations to deliver services directly to residents
- Connecting people to local groups, employment support and volunteering
Impact and outcomes
- Hundreds of visits and enquiries each quarter, with the majority resolved at first contact
- High levels of repeat engagement, showing ongoing trust and value
- Thousands of residents supported to access wider services
