Paignton Community Hub continues to offer practical, face-to-face support for local people, helping residents access information, advice, and community services in a safe and welcoming space.
Throughout the winter, the Hub has supported people with issues including benefits, housing, form filling, digital access, and wellbeing. Working closely with local partners, the Hub helps individuals feel more confident, informed, and supported to take their next steps.
Recent activity included the Hub taking part in a Mug & Mingle event as part of national Blue Monday activities. The event gave local people the chance to enjoy a warm drink, speak with service providers, and connect with others in their community. It also provided an opportunity to share information about local support services available in Paignton and beyond.
The Hub also continues to raise awareness of digital safety, supporting residents to recognise and avoid online scams. Staff and partners offer guidance on staying safe online and can help people who may be worried about suspicious messages, emails, or websites.
Paignton Community Hub is based at Paignton Library and offers a free, drop-in information point on weekdays. No appointment is needed, and everyone is welcome.
