Merry Christmas from Engaging Communities South West
21.12.2020
From all of us here at Engaging Communities South West, we would like to wish you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy & Healthy New Year!
We’d like to thank all of our volunteers, staff, champions, partners and of course the general public for all your support and for sharing your experiences with us this year.
We would also like to offer special thanks to all health, care and support staff who have worked particular hard this year to keep Devon safe and supported during the Coronavirus outbreak.
Our contact centre and office numbers will be closed to the public from 4:30pm on Wednesday 23rd December 2020, re-opening on Monday 4th January 2021.
(please be aware any messages won’t be heard until the office reopens)
We hope you don’t need to call over the festive period, but should you suffer a medical emergency please call 999, or for non-urgent enquiries please call 111.
We understand just how difficult this year has been for us all and how tempting it may be to spend time with friends and family over Christmas.
But it remains very important we continue to protect each other by sticking to the rules. COVID-19 has not gone away and will not go away easily if we do not.
So please remember, we can all help control the virus if we do the following:
- Wash hands – keep washing your hands regularly
- Cover face – wear a face covering in enclosed spaces
- Make space – stay at least 2 metres apart – or 1 metre with a face covering or other precautions

Only by working together can we keep COVID in 2020. We hope to see you all healthier and happier in 2021.
