Strengthening collaboration across the voluntary sector

The VCSE Network brings together organisations across Torbay to work more effectively as a collective, improving coordination and strengthening support for local communities.

The network was created to address the lack of a unified voice across a diverse and active voluntary sector.

  • Developed shared priorities including mental health, financial hardship and digital inclusion
  • Facilitated regular meetings, partnership working and shared initiatives
  • Strengthened links between voluntary services and statutory partners

Impact and outcomes

  • Improved coordination and reduced duplication across services
  • Increased access to advice, wellbeing and support for residents
  • Strengthened collective influence with local decision-makers
  • Enabled faster, more joined-up responses to community need
  • Supported sustainable, preventative models of care
