Strengthening collaboration across the voluntary sector
The VCSE Network brings together organisations across Torbay to work more effectively as a collective, improving coordination and strengthening support for local communities.
The network was created to address the lack of a unified voice across a diverse and active voluntary sector.
What the network has done
- Established a collaborative network of VCSE organisations across Torbay
- Supported delivery of services including the Community Helpline and Hub
- Developed shared priorities including mental health, financial hardship and digital inclusion
- Facilitated regular meetings, partnership working and shared initiatives
- Strengthened links between voluntary services and statutory partners
Impact and outcomes
- Improved coordination and reduced duplication across services
- Increased access to advice, wellbeing and support for residents
- Strengthened collective influence with local decision-makers
